About the role
Your Opportunity:
The Cardston ODT program is seeking casual Administrative Support III (ASIII) staff to support day-to-day operations. This role is the first point of contact for clients and community members and includes: Greeting and registering clients, managing referrals and booking appointments, maintaining program files and records, ordering and tracking supplies, collaborating with internal teams and external partners. The ASIII reports to the Program Manager and is supervised by the Assistant Head Nurse. Candidates should have experience in administrative support, strong organizational skills, and a basic understanding of addiction and mental health services.

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Must be able to exercise professionalism, judgment, tact, diplomacy, and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum two years of experience working in health care environment is preferred. Advanced computer knowledge in word processing and data management software is preferred (e.g. MS Teams, Connect Care MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Training and experience in timekeeping preferred. Experience developing and working on custom workflow tools preferred. Connect Care is an asset, NVCI, Suicide Prevention Risk Assessment and Management (SPRAM), BLS.
