About the role
What is the opportunity?
As an Executive Assistant/Mortgage Officer, you will support a top producing Mortgage Broker in meeting sales objectives and related activities by providing value added administrative service and support.
This position is a full-time Monday to Friday (9am-5pm)
What will you do?
- Respond to client email & telephone requests
- Manage Mortgage brokers emails and pipeline, and respond in a professional and timely manner for any requests/inquires.
- Data entry through mortgage application system to complete applications
- Prepare full signing package once file is approved by the lender
- Request documents from clients according to lender conditions
- Organize documents and help fulfil all mortgage conditions once file is approved from beginning to end
- Prepare any documents needed in order to fulfil mortgage conditions
- Communicate back and forth with both customers and lenders to help fulfil conditions and to answer any questions.
- Prepare required private mortgage documents as requested/directed
- Review documents including employment verification and to analyze bank statements with attention to detail
- Must close off file with final compliance after the file is funded and closed and submit to mortgage brokerage for review
- Assist in managing mortgage brokers financial documents, invoices, and keeping records
- Organzing mailed documents and scanning and placing into appropriate folders
- Simplify and improve processes for day to day activities
- Effective management of files and records
- Manage business book keeping
- Assist with marketing and managing social media advertising
What do you need to succeed?
- Minimum 1-2 years of demonstrated excellence in a service and sales support role
- Exceptional customer service skills, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management and oral/written skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on importance and deadlines.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Must be sales-oriented, self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Mortgage/credit lending experience is an asset
- Experience with social media marketing is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Work Location: In person
