Your Opportunity:
Two Hills has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practice Nurse for their Home Care team! Located within the Two Hills Health Centre, you will work with a dynamic, supportive team and will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people in your community. Reporting to the Care Manager, Two Hills Home Care, you will utilize your strong assessment, organizational, and leadership skills to provide leadership and supervision of Health Care Aides and deliver quality nursing care to clients in the community. The successful candidate will play a key role on the interdisciplinary team, collaborating in the delivery of holistic, client and family centre care. Situated 135km east of Edmonton, Two Hills is an urban centre serving an agricultural region. The town has a population of 1,379 while the county has approximately 4,500 people. Residents have easy access to the downtown and commercial areas, as well as several parks and playgrounds. The town has a grocery store, several restaurants, gas stations, two banks, various businesses, churches, two schools with kindergarten to grade 12, an arena and curling rink, and a swimming pool. Within a half-hour drive are three beautiful lakes ideal for camping and fishing. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.

Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
