Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Participate in food preparation and cooking as needed, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Help train new employees on food handling practices, customer service standards, and operational procedures.
- Manage bartending duties when required, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and inventory management.
- Conduct interviews for potential hires, contributing to the recruitment process.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas in accordance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling standards.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
