Responsibilities
- Organize, clean, and integrate clinical and operational data from various sources
- Conduct statistical analysis to assess data quality, identify trends, and highlight inefficiencies
- Use tools like Excel, Power BI to build dashboards for clinic performance and patient flow
- Support predictive or diagnostic model development to improve appointment scheduling, resource usage, or patient outcomes
- Assist with preparing reports that help managers and clinicians make data-informed decisions
- Ensure all data handling aligns with relevant privacy legislation and data protection requirements
- Participate in testing and feedback cycles for proposed solutions or dashboards.
- Use SQL and Python where applicable to analyze structured or unstructured data
Skills
- Enrolled in a Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related program
- Computer Science background is a strong asset
- Experience in Java is a plus, especially for developing or working with data-driven applications
- Familiarity with statistical tools and techniques (e.g., SPSS, Python)
- Strong skills in data visualization (Excel, Power BI preferred)
- Ability to ask analytical questions and define clear problem statements
- Comfortable working with multiple data sources and data formats
- Interest in applying analytics in a healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
