LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) |7-month contract

- You hold a temporary full-time position(7-month contract | 32-40 hrs/week).

Your tasks at a glance
- You connect the patient to devices such as monitoring equipment, and intravenous therapy for fluids and pain medication.
- You are tasked with patient observation & pain intervention.
- You monitor patients when they are still under the effects of anesthesia.
- You rigorously carry out all the administrative tasks associated with the position (complete notes on the charts, communicate information in writing or orally, and complete any form required by the establishment).
- You perform any other task requested by the center director or the management team.
A clear view of your assets
- You are a Licensed Practical Nurse registered with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
- You have an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Your experience in ophthalmology and/or optometry is considered an asset.
- You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment and when working in a team.
- You have excellent communication skills in English.
- Schedule: You have flexible work availability from Monday to Friday (6:45 am to 3:30 pm, or 7:30 am to end of surgery day).
- Required: You are comfortable traveling between our LASIK MD South, LASIK MD North West & King LASIK locations.
