Bayshore Home Care Solutions Burnaby branch is hiring for a part-time (15hrs/week), temporary (6-months) Office Administrative Assistant. This position is office based and work hours are from 8:30am to 5:00pm weekdays.

Salary rate : $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Role Overview As the Office Administrative Assistant, you will complete day to day administrative office duties and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for branch.
  • Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation.
  • Scan and create digital files for all staff and client care.
  • Manage staff reimbursements, hotel booking
  • Collect, open, and distribute incoming mail on a daily basis; maintain mailing lists.
  • Maintain and fulfill courier requests (e.g. Fed-Ex; Amazon)
  • Complete word processing, scanning, filing, and photocopying as requested.
  • Order, distribute, and maintain an inventory of in-stock items including stationary, forms, PPE, and office supplies.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Greet customers, clients and staff and handle inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.
  • Complete other tasks as requested.

Education Minimum - Secondary School Diploma; completion of a clerical or receptionist training program is preferred.

Experience A minimum of two years’ recent experience as an administrative assistant in an office setting.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Frequent typing, walking, sitting, and standing throughout shift.
  • Occasional lifting (approx. 16 lbs.), bending, pushing, and pulling.
