Professional Excavators & Construction Inc, currently has an immediate opening for an experienced Screedman in our Asphalt business unit.

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience working as a Screed Operator.
• Operate screed behind a hot mix asphalt paving machine.
• Observe the distribution of asphalt material over the road surface ensuring even distribution.
• Ability to set the angle and depth, verify depth specifications and estimate the quantities of asphalt screed required.
• Signal the Paver Operator to start and stop the paving machine.
• Clean and grease the paving machine.
• Assist Paver Operator with routine maintenance.
• Physical strength and coordination.
• Ability to work safely and to stay alert at all times.
• Ability to pass mandatory Drug, Alcohol and Fitness Testing.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License and reliable transportation.
