Job Description - Registered Massage Therapist (self-employed)

Lambton Golf and Country Club is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our wellness team. If you are passionate about massage therapy, have excellent communication skills, and are committed to building your practice as part of a supportive team, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments to understand individual needs and preferences.
• Perform massages tailored to the specific needs of clients, including sports massage, deep tissue massage, and relaxation massage.
• Utilize various massage techniques and modalities to alleviate muscle tension, reduce pain, and enhance recovery.
• Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the treatment area and throughout the facility.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, chiropractors, and personal trainers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
• Skilled in basic techniques such as sports, deep tissue and Swedish massage.
• Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), acupuncture and other release techniques considered an asset.
• Open to sharing expertise and learning new skills
• At least 2 years’ experience
• Proof of valid liability/malpractice insurance
