We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our food service department within a hotel setting. Your leadership skills and passion for hospitality will be essential in ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining high standards of food quality, and managing a team of culinary professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and servers, to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation.
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards and prevent contamination.
- Participate in the hiring and interviewing process for new team members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to develop menus that meet guest expectations while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
- Train staff on food service techniques, customer service skills, and operational procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Address guest inquiries and feedback promptly to enhance overall dining experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and safe food handling practices.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with guests and staff alike.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
- A background in hotel management or related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
