Working closely with project managers, site teams, engineers, and external partners, you’ll help ensure projects run efficiently to meet high-performance standards. You will be instrumental in implementing project management systems, supporting contract and procurement processes that keep the operations organized, aligned, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support procurement planning, materials tracking, and forecasting to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of project components.
  • Monitor and track project costs, ensuring budget alignment and supporting the financial health of projects.
  • Provide administrative and technical support related to contract preparation, tracking, and documentation.
  • Assist in developing and refining project control procedures related to communication, safety, and risk mitigation.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of project schedules, facilitating planning meetings and regular progress reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (PMs, Superintendents, Engineers) and external stakeholders to maintain clear communication and coordination.
  • Review project deliverables for quality and compliance, and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Support the implementation of QA/QC systems and help ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and promote consistent use of project management software across all phases of project delivery.
  • Coordinate documentation and logistics for consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

As the ideal candidate, you will hold a post-secondary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in a project control or project management role within the construction industry. A comprehensive understanding of the full construction project lifecycle—from pre-construction planning to execution and closeout—is essential.

You are skilled in reading construction blueprints and performing quantity take-offs, contributing to accurate estimates and effective planning. Your expertise includes project scheduling, budget tracking, and procurement coordination, supported by hands-on experience with scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera. Familiarity with construction management tools like Procore, Buildertrend, or similar platforms is a strong asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint—is required to support detailed reporting and analysis. You bring exceptional organizational and time-management skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Clear and confident communication is essential, as you’ll collaborate closely with project managers, site superintendents, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders. Experience with contract administration and procurement documentation will be highly valued.

We’re seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and brings a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Your commitment to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement will play a key role in the successful delivery of our construction projects.
