The Utility position performs daily maintenance checks and preventive maintenance on all facilities and equipment (includes hydrant systems and truck load racks) pertaining to fuel storage and distribution systems and operations. Operates a vac truck and performs hydrant pit inspections and tank dips. Adheres to all standards, policies, procedures to ensure that the staff are supported by following established procedures and protocols.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma. Training will be provided.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and legally able to work in Canada.
- Must be able to pass and maintain all required security clearances including a background check as required by the Airport and Transport Canada (RAIC).
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English. Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations. Ability to work different shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
- A working knowledge of GSE maintenance issues.
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook.
- Must have a valid Provincial Driver's license in good standing, be able to obtain and maintain a valid DA/AVOP.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
- Comply with Menzies Uniform Policy.
- Aviation Industry experiences a plus.
- 10-hour shift, 4 on 3 off per week
