About the role

Position Details:

The Bunge Engineering Internship Program is looking for collaborative results-oriented candidates with strong critical thinking and communication skills. This is a full time 16 weeks co-op position September 2025 to December 2025.

In addition to a competitive hourly rate, a stipend will be provided to help with covering housing costs for candidates that will relocate for the role.

A Day in the Life:

The internship is designed to give you an understanding of the operations and processes of businesses across Bunge’s value chain. During the internship, you will receive cross functional exposure to a number of Bunge’s business units while performing various operational functions. You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation in all aspects of operational processes.

Location is at our facility in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Participate fully in the day-to-day operation of a Bunge facility
  • Develop a thorough understanding of plant operations.
  • Demonstrate your level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or program manager.
  • Travel to other Bunge locations for training and exposure purposes.
  • Assist location and corporate staff in evaluating changing operational conditions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Bunge internal and external customers.

Education/Experience:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a four year accredited college or university, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial and Agricultural Engineering strongly preferred
  • Must be collaborative, results oriented and possess strong critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in standard PC applications
  • Standard internships hours 8 AM – 5 PM subject to modification as required by assignment and/or location.
  • Ability to travel.
