About Verdant Verdant’s smart thermostats and energy management solutions are in high demand in the hotel and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) sectors. As we expand, we’re looking for a motivated and fearless Lead Generator to help drive our growth by connecting with key decision-makers and booking demos for our sales team.

This is an entry-level role with big potential — perfect for someone who thrives on making connections, loves a challenge, and wants to kickstart a lucrative career in B2B sales.

As a Sales Lead Generator, You Will

  • Identify and research new potential leads in target markets
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and manage our customer database
  • Call decision-makers, introduce Verdant’s solutions, and book web demos for our sales team
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to optimize your daily outreach and hand off qualified leads
  • Keep CRM data accurate and up to date
  • Track and follow up on demo bookings
  • Extract and manage contact lists using online platforms
  • Compete to be a top performer, while contributing to a strong team culture

Required Education, Experience & Skills

  • A passion for talking to people and building connections
  • A competitive drive and a history of standing out — whether in sports, sales, or other pursuits
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building trust quickly
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools and systems
  • Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced team environment
  • Great time management and organizational skills
  • Confidence when speaking with decision-makers, and the ability to spark curiosity about our tech
  • Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills

  • Experience in sales, customer service, call centers, or B2B outreach
