As a Junior Designer, you will assist in the creation of fire protection system layouts and construction drawings under the guidance of senior designers and engineers. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in their mechanical design career and looking to gain hands-on experience in a specialized field.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with the design and layout of fire sprinkler systems using SprinkCAD
• Create and update construction drawings using AutoCAD and Bluebeam
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams
• Interpret specifications, drawings, and applicable codes and standards
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of drawing packages

What You Bring:

• Graduate or near-completion of the Mechanical Engineering Technology program at NAIT
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and ideally SprinkCAD
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and grow within the fire protection industry
