Canpar Express and Loomis Express, both subsidiaries of TFI International, are key players in Canada’s logistics sector. Canpar, founded in 1976, specializes in small parcel delivery with over 1,700 employees and 55 terminals nationwide. Loomis, has roots dating back to 1905, providing high-quality courier services in both divisions contributes to TFI’s annual revenue exceeding $10 plus billion (CAD). Together, they leverage a vast network to deliver efficient and reliable services across the country, emphasizing customer satisfaction and operationalexcellence.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure freight is delivered to the appropriate destination within specific timelines.
- Constant communication with drivers as well as internal and external clients.
- Dispatching deliveries, pre-planning offloading of containers/trailers and booking appointments.
- Assist customers in tracing shipments and liaison between customers and Dispatch.
- Create, communicate, schedule, and maintain the driver/delivery schedules.
- Handle various clerical and administrative functions in order to maintain the flow of information
within the operations department.
- Book inbound delivery appointments and image all appropriate documents required.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, result driven, and a team player. In addition, the successful candidate will have the following:
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience in a previous Dispatch role
- Customer Service and data entry experience is required.
- Excellent communication with strong English, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Must be well organized and possess strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to changing priorities.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
