We are looking for a results-driven sales professional with a passion for heavy-duty and automotive equipment? Do you thrive on building relationships, closing deals, and having control over a wide and diverse sales territory? Westvac Industrial is seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our Lift Division and exclusively own the entire province of British Columbia.
This is an incredible opportunity to take over a massive and well-established territory to grow it even further. Essentially anywhere that employs a mechanic is a potential customer. Based out of our Port Kells based BC location, you’ll be selling industry-leading brands into municipal, industrial, and commercial customers across BC.
What You’ll Be Selling:
Representation of top-tier brands in the automotive & HD equipment industry, including but not limited to:
- Stertil-Koni (Heavy-Duty Lifts)
- Challenger (Automotive Lifts)
- Josam (HD Alignment Machines & HD Frame Straightening)
- Wheel Service Equipment
- BL Innovare Bodyguard (Damaging Protection Imaging)
- BL Innovare Fastlign (Automotive Alignment Machines)
- Balcrank Lubrication Systems
…and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell a diverse range of vehicle lifts and garage/shop equipment across BC
- Manage and grow existing client accounts while aggressively pursuing new business
- Provide equipment demos and technical presentations
- Travel extensively within the territory (including overnight travel)
- Collaborate with service, parts, and admin teams for seamless project execution
- Work with CDK software to manage customer data and activities
- Prepare and submit detailed bids, quotes, and specifications
- Prepare presentations and submissions - especially for municipal tenders
- Provide hands-on training during product delivery and installations
- Maintain expense reports and driver logs
Who We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of equipment sales experience (garage, automotive, or HD preferred)
- Skilled in B2B sales, with a solid understanding of customer buying cycles
- Excellent communicator with strong organizational skills
- Mechanical and Technical aptitude is a major asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and experienced with CRM systems
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of self-managing a large territory
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Comfortable driving with a trailer (required)
- Trustworthy with company expenses and has an understanding of strategic logistics
- Comfortable presenting and working with diverse teams (clients, manufacturers, municipalities)
