SALARY RANGE:
$39.07 - $56.00

CLOSING DATE:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)
- BScN or undergraduate degree in health related field
- Completion of an entry level comprehensive infection control course required.
- 5 years recent experience in clinical/bedside nursing or laboratory microbiology, combined with 2 years experience in the practice of Infection Control, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Registered Nurse with current registration in good standing.
- Commitment to obtain Certification in Infection Control (CIC) within 1 year.
- Computer proficiency for window based programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
- Knowledge and understanding of infection control and microbiology, immunology, epidemiology and statistical analysis.
- Demonstrated leadership in clinical practice and adult learning.
- Satisfactory attendance.
