Job description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Autobody Journeyman to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for restoring vehicles and attention to detail, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components as per manufacturer’s specifications.
- Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers.
- Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams.
- Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
- Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
- Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs.
- Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the achievement of quality standards in restoration and repair, in order to reduce and eliminate rework and warranty claims.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid drivers' license
- Proven abilities in automotive body repairs
- Commitment to delivering top-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Able to work well under pressure
License/Certification:
- Red Seal Interprovincial license (required)

Pay: $10,000.00-$12,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lacombe, AB T4L 2H8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
