Reliability Maintenance Supervisor

The location in West Carrollton, (Ohio, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Reliability Maintenance Supervisor. This job is full-time permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and communicate the vision of the precision maintenance program.
- Direct effective predictive maintenance efforts through implementation and regular use vibration analysis, IR scanning and other best practice techniques.
- Ensure systems are in place for maintenance and operations to better understand, monitor and communicate the health of all production processes and equipment.
- Review and follow-up on equipment failures, utilizing root cause failure analysis, and offer solutions and take ownership of corrective action to prevent future failures.
- Lead Asset Strategy Development.
- Integrate reliability centered maintenance, risk-based inspections, equipment condition monitoring, root cause analysis, critical spare parts management, and other reliability best practices in normal day-to-day activities.
- Provide technical expertise for the analysis, development and evaluation of new maintenance technologies and equipment, and fully utilize all existing technology.
- Serve as a resource for operators and maintenance to learn and understand more about maintenance processes and their related systems and strategies.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within processes, equipment/controls, environmental/safety areas, employee work environment, costs, quality, etc.
- Manage Maintenance KPI’s and their reporting.
- Assist on capital engineering projects as needed.
- Identify training/improvement opportunities for the mechanical and electrical technicians.
Maintenance Support:
- Analyze and recommend proper inventory level of spare parts
- Determine and oversee the proper frequency of OEM service necessary on our equipment. Determine potential reliability issues and proactively correct.
Operations Support:
- Analyze and recommend strategy for equipment relocations to facilitate organizational optimization.
- Subject Matter Expert supporting equipment upgrades, relocations, rebuilds, and installations
- Support and Complete Quality Audits as needed
- Support and Complete Safety Audits as needed
Miscellaneous:
- Provide Operational and Maintenance Technical Support as needed
- Develop, coordinate and report maintenance and operational efficiency opportunities to plant leadership
- Provide monthly progress report on goals, issues and observations to the maintenance, engineering and plant managers
Required Qualifications/Professional Experiences/Years of Experience/Education/Certifications:
- 5 years’ experience in the maintenance and/or engineering fields.
- Formal training in current maintenance best practices.
Preferred Qualifications/Professional Experiences/Years of Experience:
- 7-10 years’ experience in the maintenance and/or engineering fields.
- Formal training in current maintenance best practices – documented with certifications.
- Work history that includes work as a mechanic or electrician.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP
