Location : Brossard, QC

Assignment : Permanent

Work Schedule : Weekday daytime hours, with availability for evenings and weekends depending on project needs.

Salary : $99,177 to $110,194

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee the completion and execution of contracts and projects for the construction and repair of major Seaway infrastructure;

  • Ensure that contractors' procedures, documentation, insurance and drawings are adequate, and follow up as necessary;

  • Prepare detailed drawings, reports and specifications;

  • Commission new work to a fully operating state;

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members;

  • Provide support to operational safety programs and initiatives as required;

  • Conduct technical analyses, reports and feasibility studies;

  • Perform site and equipment inspections and provide support on breakdowns & malfunctions;

  • Support projects and contracts in a safe and efficient manner according to targets, quality standards, cost and project constraints.

Your profile

  • College Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology;

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related progressive practical technical experience, including specific experience in construction projects;

  • Specific knowledge of applicable engineering and project management principles and practices;

  • Working knowledge of inspection, maintenance, design and installation techniques and practices;

  • Proficiency in CAD technology (AutoCAD and Inventor);

  • Eligible for certification with the l'Ordre des technologues professionnels du Québec;

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record;

  • Proficient in French, verbally and in writing, and fluent in English, verbally. This requisite is explained by the nature of the position which requires communicating with teams located in Québec and Ontario.

Your working conditions

  • Mix of indoors and outdoors work environment;
  • Job may involve working at heights, depths, near open water and/or confined spaces;
  • Role may require working extended hours;
  • Frequent travel to job sites depending on the project.
