Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of theft or suspicious activity.
- Apprehend and detain individuals involved in criminal activity, following proper procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and shrinkage.
- Conduct internal investigations into employee theft or misconduct.
Experience:
- Previous experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding theft, trespassing, and other criminal activities.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
