Job Title Analyst, Finance Systems

Position Overview Reporting into the Finance Systems Manager, the Finance Systems Analyst will primarily support the Systems Manager and broader corporate team in data reconciliation, dashboarding and planning/forecasting system management. This includes acquisition, verification, retrieval, standardization, interpretation and distribution of data and information. This role is critical in helping the Finance team execute on their financial planning and reporting during Month End, Budget and Forecast periods.

What You'll Do Anaplan and Dashboarding

  • Help the Systems Manager develop and maintain all models and modules within Anaplan
  • Help develop dashboards and other views that can be used by the broader Corporate team
  • Act as a contact in resolving and escalating where appropriate, Anaplan issues
  • Participate in formal user requirement processes and ensure that implemented solutions meet identified user requirements
  • Perform model maintenance tasks as required including data in/out tasks along with data validation tasks
  • Help support a request ticketing system to support model updates and enhancements
  • Ensure data integrity within all reports through data reconciliation and validation
  • Assist the Corporate Planning and Reporting team as needed
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as required

Let's Talk About You

  • 3+ years’ experience with planning and forecasting tool (Anaplan, preferred)
  • Experience with ERP (SAP, MS Dynamics, Sage, preferred)
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Strong Excel skills and with experience reconciling large data sets
  • Undergraduate degree in a discipline that teaches critical thinking
  • Require accounting background and experience
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Experience with models, and tracing back from output to source.
  • Problem solver – can structure, break down and solve complex business issues
  • Analytical – can analyze and draw conclusions from large and or complex data sources (both qualitative and quantitative)
  • Financial acumen – understands financial analysis/ working knowledge of financial statements
