Job Summary
On behalf of our client, a Crown Financing Corporation, we are recruiting for a Product/Business Analyst to be part of a team working on the modernization of a loan application system. The role will be responsible for documenting business requirements, managing system issues and contributing to testing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
•Understand business needs, constraints and problems to identify solution options
•Document and execute user story acceptance tests
•Evaluate/develop business requirements.
•Provide user story and solution support to team members
•Create, manage, and resolve stories in JIRA.
•Ensure high quality of development and solution before product increment release
•Monitor development to ensure standards are followed and ease of maintenance.
•Create, manage, release (production & ITE)
•Manage incidents and incoming enhancement requests.
•Support investigation, analysis, and response to incidents
•Facilitate problem and solution negotiations with business stakeholders and IT team.
Qualifications
•3+ years experience as a Business Analyst/Product Analyst working on application development in a financial industry environment.
•Experience assessing stakeholder requirements and carrying out Business Analyst functions including requirements elicitation/documentation and testing
•Attention to detail, curious, experience working in agile, ability to understand different viewpoints of stakeholders
•Facilitate problem and solution negotiation between multiple business and IT stakeholders
•Relationship-builder and collaborator able to understand stakeholder needs
•Team player who embraces change and strives to improve and innovate processes
•Detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for building great products
