About the role
Tasks
- Promote products to current and prospective clients within the assigned territory.
- Clearly and persuasively explain product benefits and advantages.
- Plan travel schedules to maximize time spent with customers.
- Participate in several trade shows annually.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and conduct market research.
- Identify and develop new markets and business opportunities.
- Conduct cold calls, walk-ins, and regular customer visits.
- Maintain strong client relationships and assess satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, engineering, production, customer service).
- Use CRM and Microsoft 365 tools to track opportunities, sales, deliveries, and customer feedback.
- Handle the administrative follow-up of the sales process.
- Assist in drafting, submitting, and negotiating offers and quotes.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Job requirements
- High school diploma (DES) or equivalent; other relevant training accepted.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial or related product sales.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and CRM systems.
- Valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle and full insurance.
- Well-organized with the ability to manage frequent travel, including outside Québec.
- Bilingual: French and English (spoken and written), as there will be frequent travel to the USA.
- Ability to assess needs, negotiate effectively, and close sales.
- Knowledge of the wine industry or experience in a vineyard (an asset).
- Training in sommellerie (an asset).
