- Monitor, track and respond to alarm signals initiated by Brink’s facilities, vehicles and or employees
- Action the necessary protocols and provide emergency response to call inquiries
- Validate facilities and data security
- Provide a high degree of customer focus both internal and external
- Ability to communicate with external emergency services officers and 911 call centers across the country
- Ability to communicate with internal Brink’s Management and Corporate Security staff
- Demonstrate a strong technical expertise
- Ability to generate or write reports on demand
- Review alarm activities generated by our facilities roof top protection systems
- Assist with geo-fence requests on specific fleet as required
- Coordination of activating modes on our fleet subject for strict compliance with protocol
- Provide access, validation and monitoring to respective Brink’s facilities via remote access duties
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English/French, both written and verbal, is an asset.
- Familiarity with emergency response, alarm or 911 call center operations.
- Ability to remain calm under emergency situations is critical while following escalation protocols.
- Experience or understanding the Cash in Transit and Logistics industries is an asset. Ability to learn and operate multiple pieces of software.
- Experience with GPS, Access level systems and video surveillance is a benefit.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Report writing is an asset.
- Ability to type 40 words per minute while speaking.
- Excellent phone manners and people skills.
- Willingness to work variable hours, in a fast paced 24hr/365 day operation.
- A self-directed team player who can collaborate well in a team environment.
