We are looking for a Heavy Duty Road Technician to add to our growing team.

Job Duties

• Provide own tools
• Travel on Vancouver Island
• Work independently
• Work on a variety of construction equipment such as:
• Excavators, Loaders, Generators, Compaction, Telehandlers, Wheel and Track Dumpers
• Work on tow behind/track chippers, grinders and shredders
• Repairs including mechanical, electrical and hydraulics
• Engine work including Perkins, Kohler, Deutz, Hatz and Yanmar
• Troubleshooting using OEM service software
• Possible field work in Lower Mainland area
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow and execute work order instructions
• Pre-delivery inspection of new equipment
• Servicing and repair
• Light welding and fabricating
• Work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable in face to face communication with existing or potential customers when safe to do so
• Strong reading, writing and computer skills preferred
