Education & Expertise

A nationally recognized personal training certification is required and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional certifications may be required to qualify for a pay level increase.

2-3 years of experience working as a Personal Trainer is required

Lead or Supervisor experience in the fitness industry is considered as asset
-
A broad understanding of injuries, disease, nutrition, and any conditions that may affect one's ability to perform exercise is necessary.

All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
Duties & Responsibilities

Trainer Oversight and Quality Assurance:

Oversee Personal Trainers, as directed by HPM, during client sessions to assess coaching effectiveness, engagement and program execution.

Conduct structured feedback meetings post-session with the Personal Trainer to provide actionable coaching items and reinforce performance standards.

Hold 1-1 meetings (as directed by HPM) to ensure training programs are compliant, well-structured and progressive
Member Experience and Retention:
-
Reach out to new, existing and MES members through calls and emails to reinforce engagement and support
-
Proactively contact clients who have not trained in 30/60/90 days to re-engage them with their training journey
-
Monitor and manage RX, RMS and MES follow ups to ensure consistent member support and conversation
Trainer Support and Development:
-
Meet with the trainers following Rx appointments to strategize for high-quality demo and education sessions

Lead weekly sessions with new trainers focused on assessments, program design and foundational sales techniques

Collaborate with the High Performance Manager to align on weekly initiatives, address challenges and optimize team performance
Operational Excellence

Monitor outstanding bookings and support trainers in managing schedules effectively

Complete essential admin tasks and emails in a timely and professional manner to support team and client success
