Territory Manager / Sales Representative (Cannabis) – Kelowna, BC

 to champion our brands in  Kelowna and the Okanagan region.

The Job: Territory Manager – Okanagan

Reporting to the BC Sales Manager, this is an entrepreneurial role where you'll be responsible for developing, managing, and executing your sales plan. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional, collaborative self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills.

You'll confidently present one-on-one or to groups, building and leveraging strong customer relationships. You'll also be a self-educator, using your knowledge to influence decision-makers at retail and within our internal team. When developing retailer engagement programs, you'll ensure all activities operate within local and federal cannabis regulations.

What Success Looks Like

Selling and Influencing:

  • Manage all accounts in your assigned territory, establishing Cannavolve Inc. and its client brands as favored partners.
  • Generate new sales leads, event leads, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Create brand awareness and community engagement within your territory.
  • Attend relevant cannabis trade shows in the region.
  • Identify and act on unique opportunities to promote brands within the confines of local, provincial, and federal regulations.
  • Seek new distribution opportunities and build partnerships that maximize distribution, visibility, and service.
  • Execute marketing initiatives to drive consumer loyalty and sales.
  • Maintain accurate territory records and information databases.
  • Lead industry and brand education sessions, including supporting community engagement, customer-led training, and sampling initiatives.
  • Achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets as directed by your Regional Manager.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships that support Cannavolve Inc.'s operating plans.
  • Develop relationships with partners and key decision-makers to better understand and support their operating objectives.

Planning & Self-Management:

  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager in planning sales activities and working towards KPIs for the region.
  • Execute your territory's annual plan and commitments.
  • Manage your time effectively, including building efficient weekly and monthly schedules.
  • Maintain and accurately track territory sales and activation budgets.
  • Exercise fiscal responsibility in budgeting, adhering to expense policy to drive volume and growth within acceptable trade practices.

Seeks consensus, debates opinions, clarifies judgments, and empathetically addresses conflict. Explains complex situations, asks probing questions, and solicits expert advice.

  • Leading to Deliver:

     Encourages self-discipline and detail-based decision-making. Seeks guidance on out-of-scope processes. Makes decisions based on all relevant details and accepts responsibility for effective service delivery. Understands organizational goals and how they align with daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a safe, reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
