The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. He designs and develops reports, dashboards and analyses for various departments, while ensuring the quality and integrity of the data. He therefore works in close collaboration with the Finance, Production and other internal teams in all of the company's business units.
As Business Intelligence Analyst You Will Have To
- Analyze business needs and recommend appropriate BI solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
- Extract, transform, and load data (ETL) from a variety of sources.
- Work closely with IT, finance, sales, operations and marketing teams.
- Identify opportunities for improvement from data and make recommendations.
- Ensure the quality, consistency and reliability of the data used.
- Participate in data governance and analytics modernization projects. Analyze requirements, develop, deploy, and maintain BI integrations using Power BI.
- Work with the various functional analysts to identify, understand and develop master data systems.
- Develop and maintain data integration components such as SQL queries.
What Makes You An Asset To Our Team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
- More than 2 years of experience in business intelligence analysis and development.
- Previous experience in business process analysis.
- Previous experience working with ERP solutions or other information systems.
- Experience in XML, API, SQL and SSRS, Excel.
- Experience in release best practices and structured deployments.
- In-depth knowledge of Power BI.
- Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with database tools such as SSMS or Visual Studio.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work at work in the midst of a culturally diverse team.
- Demonstrated ability to design and document software solutions.
- Team player who is also able to work independently and manage conflicting priorities while maintaining consistent and quality performance standards.
- Ability to multitask under tight deadlines and prioritize effectively, while delivering high-quality work.
- Oriented solution with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, precision and efficiency.
- Bilingualism (French/English) required.
- Possibility of working in hybrid mode. A presence at the Quebec City office is required 2 to 3 days a week.
