Job Description Wood is recruiting an experienced Project Engineering Manager to join our Canada Projects team in Calgary, Alberta who is responsible for management, direction and coordination of the project engineering group and its inter-relation with other project functions.

Responsibilities Typical Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering and design functions
- Prepare work plans, schedules and budgets for the project in conjunction with discipline leads
- Ensure engineering work on the project is completed in accordance with project HSSEA, risk management, engineering plans and the Wood Quality Management System
- Assist in determining the project organization and related job descriptions
- Facilitate and establish the means of coordination of engineering work between disciplines and between the engineering team and other project functions
- Provide leadership and counsel to discipline leads
- Interface with other offices as required
- Establish basis design criteria for projects
- Responsible for implementation of Wood and project specific standards including adherence to engineering procedures and quality control checks
- Technical proposal preparation
- Coordination with High Value Engineering centers
- Plan engineering deliverables, man-hours and engineering schedules
Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood now or in the future is required.

Expected
- Registration as a P.Eng is mandatory with 15 – 25 years of broad and extensive experience on Oil, Gas & Chemical projects
- Must possess a high degree of originality, skill and proficiency in the various broad phases of engineering application and knowledge of quality management, human resources, financial and other administrative principles and practices
