Join Coast Hotels as our next Maintenance Manager and take the lead in keeping our property operating at its best. From preventative maintenance to capital projects, your leadership will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming space for guests and ambassadors alike.

  • What You’ll Lead & Drive:

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute departmental plans and budgets that align with company goals and drive performance.

Collaborative Solutions: Partner with other departments to identify operational needs and implement impactful, cross-functional solutions.

Proactive Maintenance: Stay ahead of repairs and ensure preventative maintenance keeps things running without a hitch.

Resource Efficiency: Maximize our resources while staying on budget — smart, sustainable, and cost-effective.

Health & Safety Compliance: Lead with safety at the forefront, ensuring full compliance with WCB, OH&S, and other regulations.

Team Leadership: Inspire, guide, and grow a high-performing team. Set clear goals, delegate with intention, and build a culture of excellence.

Guest Experience Focus: Remove barriers to service, respond to concerns quickly, and help deliver a flawless guest experience.

Agility Under Pressure: Stay focused and adaptable during peak periods, special events, and surprise challenges.

✅ What You Bring to the Role:

  • Drive & Stamina: You’re active, hands-on, and ready for whatever the day brings.
  • Education: Secondary School Diploma required; post-secondary or equivalent experience a bonus.
  • Trades Certification: Certifications in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or refrigeration are a strong asset.
  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years at the Journeyman level and 2+ years leading a team.
  • Contracting & Project Skills: Experience managing contractors and capital projects with confidence.
  • Digital Know-How: Proficient with MS Office, budgeting tools, and forecasting.
  • Compliance Knowledge: WHMIS certified with strong understanding of safety and employment regulations.
  • Problem Solver: Calm, collected, and ready to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Flexible Availability: Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
