Job Description

Annual Salary up to $70,000

Work Schedule – Flexibility required

Day shift : Monday to Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

Night shift : Monday to Thursday 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

Are you passionate about machinery, fine-tuning precise settings, and the satisfaction of a perfectly finished product? At Techo-Bloc, the transformation machine operator plays a key role.

With a structured training program and a seasoned team by your side, you’ll learn to master specialized industrial equipment designed to transform, texture, polish, and seal our concrete products.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Operate transformation equipment (grinders, saws, polishers) to ensure our products meet the highest quality finish standards.
• Start up, adjust, and calibrate machines according to technical product specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical or performance issues—equipment failure? unusual noise? You step in quickly and methodically.
• Perform preventive maintenance following the established schedule (lubrication, sensor checks, tightening, visual inspections).
• Complete daily production reports.
• Use measuring tools to ensure precision in machine settings.
• Write clear reports on equipment performance, maintenance actions, and preventive measures taken.
• Participate in the daily cleaning of the entire production line (this part can get a bit dirty!)
• Supervise a small team of general laborers and forklift operators, ensuring coordination and teamwork on the line.
• Strictly follow health and safety standards—you lead by example and know that safety goes hand in hand with efficiency.

Qualifications

You’re our ideal candidate if:

• You have training or experience in industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or manufacturing production.
• You’re comfortable in a manufacturing environment: noisy, dusty, and hot
• You’re curious, resourceful, and love understanding how things work.
• You’re comfortable with hand tools and measuring instruments.
• You understand that precision and safety are part of the same gear system.
• You’re motivated to learn, grow, and become a key team member in the department.

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
