Mask Fit Tester - Occupational Health and Wellness
About the role
Job Description Reporting to the Director, Occupational Health and Wellness, the Mask Fit Tester administers all aspects of the Respiratory Protection Program and works along with the Safety Consultants to resolve identified issues and opportunities. This includes managing, planning, promoting, implementing, coordinating, evaluating related initiatives and contributing to the overall success of the organization’s Health and Safety programs consistent with the position's qualifications and professional practices. This role is responsible for conducting the Mask Fit Testing which includes scheduling appointments, managing follow up and maintaining fit test records in accordance with the Respiratory Protection Program.
What must you have?
- Enrolment in a degree or diploma program in health and safety related field or equivalent.

- Ability to ensure effective communications and interactions with individuals at all levels internal and external clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple changing priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated initiative and independent problem solving.
- Excellent computer and keyboarding skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint,
- Publisher and Parklane Systems.
- Proven attendance record.
- Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive
- environment for all.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
- Effectively uses empathy in interactions with others and demonstrates behaviours consistent with Mackenzie Health’s Commitment to Caring.

Preferably, Your Profile Also Includes
- Previous experience in developing and implementing programs, within healthcare setting.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
