We are now recruiting a heavy equipment operator to support the team based at our office in Schefferville.

What will you do?

• Operate excavation equipment (shovels, backhoes, cranes with clamshell or dragline attachments, pivoted arm excavators, etc.).
• Dig, move, and level materials (rocks, concrete, etc.).
• Spread, disperse, and compress.
• Remove rock or ore from a mine or quarry.
• Load, move, and unload cargo.
• Inspect, clean, and lubricate machinery and fill their tanks.

What is the job requirements?

• Hold a valid class 5 NL driver’s license;
• Strong hydraulic experience;
• Negative drug and alcohol screening;
