We are currently seeking a Canadian Trademark Agent to join our growing Trademark Services team. This role supports a broad range of trademark-related work, including prosecution, portfolio management, and enforcement. You’ll work directly with clients across industries and benefit from ongoing mentorship from experienced professionals. If you’re a newly qualified Trademark Agent looking to build your career in a supportive and collaborative setting, this is a great opportunity to grow your expertise within a dynamic, client-focused practice.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare and file Canadian trademark applications
- Respond to Examiner’s Reports and other CIPO correspondence
- Conduct clearance searches and provide risk assessments
- Assist with opposition and expungement matters
- Support international filings and liaise with foreign counsel
- Help manage client portfolios and maintain deadline calendars
What we’re looking for:
- Registered Canadian Trademark Agent, or in the final stages of qualification
- 1–2 years of experience in Canadian trademark prosecution
- Familiarity with the Trademarks Act and CIPO procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and grow
