Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
As a senior accounting assistant you will be involved in assisting with various accounting tasks, preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate financial records.
This role requires proficiency in accounting software, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Report Preparation: Assisting in preparing financial statements, reports, and other financial documents.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing financial data, identifying variances, and providing insights to management.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconciling bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Software Proficiency: Using accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage 50, to manage financial data and generate reports.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and clients, to address accounting-related queries and issues.
- Quality Control: Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: While a degree in accounting or a related field is often preferred, experience and skills can be a substitute.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and good communication skills are essential.
