Microsoft Pre-Sales Consultant (part-time, LatAm)
Remote - Canada | Contract
Our client is seeking a part-time Microsoft Pre-Sales Consultant to support cloud infrastructure initiatives, primarily focused on Microsoft Azure. This is a strategic, client-facing role suited for professionals with deep expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies and a consultative approach to solution design and delivery. You'll play a key role in assessing client needs, designing scalable cloud architectures, and supporting the sales process with technical insight.
This position is ideal for someone seeking a flexible engagement of 10–20 hours per week, with potential to convert into a full-time role based on performance and project needs. It’s a long-term contract opportunity without an end-date. The engagement is fully remote. The candidate can be located anywhere in Latin America. You'll need to have good English communication skills (at least C1 or higher) for this role.
Responsibilities:
Act as the technical expert in pre-sales engagements for Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure projects
Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and design tailored Azure solutions
Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and presentations to support proposals
Lead technical discovery sessions with potential clients and articulate solution benefits
Provide technical input into proposals, RFP responses, and project planning
Stay up to date on Microsoft cloud offerings and ensure solutions align with best practices
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients during the evaluation and planning stages of cloud adoption
Mandatory Requirements:
Proven experience in pre-sales consulting or solution architecture focused on Microsoft Azure
Deep understanding of Microsoft cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, governance)
Ability to design scalable and secure Azure solutions based on business and technical requirements
Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in customer-facing roles
English communication level must be C1 or higher
Availability for 10–20 hours per week with flexibility to scale up if needed
Nice-to-have:
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305, AZ-104)
Experience working with North American clients or enterprise IT environments
Familiarity with licensing models and Microsoft partner ecosystem
