The Role:

As a Stores Person, your main responsibility will be to take deliveries and manage stock levels within stores & the warehouse. Replenish stock levels and internal stock transfers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• May help in shipping/receiving and checking all deliveries
• Ensure all stock is stored in the correct manner
• Keep inventory management systems up to date
• Assist Sr Stores in regular inventory counts
• Pick and deliver products from stores and/or warehouse in compliance with company processes and procedures.
• Organize and deliver goods from the stores to the relevant departments as required
• When required, assist Sr Stores person in replenishing Point Of Use (POU) on the production floor
• Contributes to continuous improvement by suggesting and/or implementing improvements to safety, costs, reduction in frustrations, etc

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Detail orientation
• Demonstrated time management skills and including multi-tasking.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Works independently with limited supervision, interacting effectively with and quickly gaining the respect and support of facilities and museum staff.
• Interacts with various levels of staff

Education and Experience:

• Secondary school vocational diploma, high school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant experience is an asset
• Valid credentials
• Ability to retrieve and enter data using a computer system.
• Use of production databases.
• Manual dexterity.

Special Considerations:

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the Reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP), and be able to obtain higher clearances.

The compensation for this position is $66,310.40 annually. The specific compensation offered will be based on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
