About the role
At Fresh Tracks Canada, we specialize in delivering customized, world-class luxury travel experiences for our clients, ensuring every trip is tailored to their needs. Behind the scenes, our technology and data systems are critical to our mission, enabling seamless booking management, itinerary creation, and exceptional customer service.
We’re seeking a Lead Technical Product Manager to own and drive the roadmap for our technology and data engineering teams, focusing on the continued development and enhancement of our Booking Management, ERP and E2e data management systems. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a seasoned technical product manager passionate about creating exceptional solutions and working cross-functionally to achieve business goals.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 CAD annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Role Overview As the Lead Technical Product Manager, you will take ownership of the roadmap, vision, and execution of our Booking Management and ERP systems. You will work closely with leadership, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, define features, plan sprints, and ensure successful delivery of production releases. You’ll need to be strategic yet detail-oriented, balancing hands-on responsibilities with forward-thinking planning to align technology solutions with Fresh Tracks Canada’s business goals.
Key Responsibilities Roadmap & Vision
- Develop and own the product roadmap for the Booking Management, ERP and E2e data management systems.
- Collaborate with leadership to define priorities and align with overall business strategy.
- Set the vision for new features and functionality, ensuring they meet business and user needs.
Product Management Execution
- Proactively translate business requirements into high-impact technical product requirements and user stories, ensuring clarity and alignment with strategic goals.
- Work closely with developers to provide clear direction, remove roadblocks, and drive continuous improvement in execution and quality rather than just responding to requests.
- Plan, prioritize, and execute sprints with the project manager, ensuring the delivery of high-qualiy, outcome-driven features on time while continuously raising the bar for excellence in product execution.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Communicate product vision, progress, and priorities effectively to all levels of the organization.
- Manage escalations and provide clarity to ensure smooth collaboration across teams.
Production Releases & Quality
- Facilitate the production releases, ensuring smooth rollouts with minimal downtime.
- Work with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and high standards for all releases.
- Act as the point of contact for production issues, driving resolutions with urgency.
Continuous Improvement
- Champion product management best practices within the team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Analyze user feedback, business needs, and system performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to inform the development of future features.
Key Qualifications
- 6+ years in technical product management, ideally with ERP, booking management, or data systems. Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, data engineering, databases and system architecture. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Proven ability to inspire and align teams, balance priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the charisma to work effectively with business stakeholders, developers, and leadership.
- Aptitude for troubleshooting and managing escalations, with a focus on root-cause analysis and long-term solutions.
- Willingness to dive into the details and support the team directly when necessary.

- 3 weeks vacation (4 weeks after your first year)
- Extended health benefits package
- Applauz Recognition
- Comprehensive employee assistance program
