Interior Matters is a forward-thinking interior design firm and boutique known for creating elevated, livable spaces that blend function with timeless style. We specialize in residential interiors and boutique commercial interiors, and we’re growing our team!

We’re currently seeking a talented Interior Designer/Retail Associate with strong design sensibility, technical skills, and a flair for social media to join our collaborative studio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop interior design concepts from initial idea to final installation
• Produce detailed drawings and presentations using SketchUp and AutoCAD
• Create and present mood boards, material palettes, and renderings
• Manage client communication, sourcing, purchasing, and project timelines
• Collaborate with contractors, trades, and suppliers
• Assist with content creation for our social media channels
• Stay up to date with design trends and industry innovations

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of interior design experience in a professional setting
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, and materials
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Social media savvy, with an eye for visual storytelling and content creation
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field

We offer an hourly wage, plus commission on furniture sales and a very competitive hourly wage for design consultations. Saturday availability is a must.
