Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to manage various financial tasks effectively. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with applicable regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Conduct account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
- Assist in budgeting processes, providing insights for financial planning and forecasting.
- Perform financial audits to assess the integrity of financial information and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage, Open Invoice, Payworks for efficient financial management.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance accounting practices and streamline processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.
- Proven experience in accounting roles, with a strong grasp of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software including Sage, Excel, Payworks ; familiarity with financial auditing practices is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
