Coordinator, Processor Supply
The Chicken Farmers of Ontario’s (CFO) Coordinator, Processor Supply will be primarily responsible for distributing chicken supply to primary processors. This role is responsible for leading all operational aspects of managing the distribution of supply to processors, including communications.
KEY ACCOUNTIBILITIES:
Allocation Process
- Process distribution of supply to processors with accuracy, timeliness and efficiency
- Implement board decisions with respect to processors while maintaining the integrity of the system
- Ensure workflow productivity and optimization by maintaining, innovating and continuously improving distribution processes while ensuring the stability of the system, including growth supply
- Analysis of contracting variables, including changes to farmer/processor contracting information, ensuring compliance with CFO’s policies and regulations
- Prepare and deliver regular reports to the CFO Board and Management Team
- Manage processor Letters of Credit
- Development and maintenance of operational business calendar including important milestones
Customer Care and Industry Engagement
- Communicate, collaborate and engage in related processor customer business activities while supporting CFO’s Manager, Production Planning and Performance
- Respond to inquiries and educate processors on CFO policies, regulations and processes. Inform processors on changes, if necessary
- Deliver customer service best management practices for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide processors and farmers with support on CFO Connects through the CFO Service Desk. Where appropriate, provide solutions to customers' Data Management and Analytics
- Perform system checks on a continual basis to ensure a high level of quality and accuracy is maintained
- Work closely with third party IT contractors to identify, troubleshoot and ensure resolution of SAP system issues as they relate to associated processes
- Perform data analysis to deliver meaningful insights on a variety of related metrics of production performance
- Prepare reporting on production performance on a routine and ad hoc basis as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- University Degree Experience
- 4-5 years of experience in the related industry
- 1-3 years of SAP experience
- SAP Change Management (Software Development Life Cycle)
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 with advanced Excel capabilities
- Ability to use supporting software: - Adobe Acrobat, Data Management and Analytics software, Video conferencing software
- Ability to effectively use time management skills both independently and in a team
- Problem-solver who takes initiative and enjoys interacting with others
- Critical thinking with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Bilingual French Speaking (asset)
