Quails’ Gate Winery is seeking outgoing and organized individuals to join our team as Seasonal Concierges! As the first point of contact for guests, you'll play a key role in shaping their experience from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will include greeting and directing visitors, managing reservations, coordinating tastings, and sharing your knowledge of our estate and wines. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the wine industry and make lasting connections while ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless, memorable visit to Quails’ Gate.

As a Concierge, you will...
- Welcome guests to Quails' Gate with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing an excellent first impression.
- Manage the Tasting schedule efficiently, considering bar availability, Wine Sales Associate rotations, and guest preferences.
- Answer incoming calls and inquiries, provide information about the Tasting Room, and assist with reservations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Concierge station and the Wine Shop
- Communicate effectively with Wine Sales Associates and Sommeliers to coordinate tastings and ensure smooth transitions between guests.
- Monitor and manage wait times, offering alternatives or complimentary services as appropriate during peak periods.
- Anticipate and address guest needs and concerns promptly and professionally, seeking assistance from management when necessary.
Requirements
- In-person customer service experience in a role that was guest-focused
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (4/5 days of availability is an asset)
- Must be energetic, engaging, and authentic
- Passionate about delivering an exceptional experience
- Meet the physical requirements of the position, including repetitively lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling weights up to 40lbs
- Serving-it-Right certification for applicants 19 years of age and older
- Previous wine education is an asset
- Previous experience as a Host is an asset
