Position Overview:
Stober Group is a privately owned and operated real estate development and property management company based in Kelowna, BC. With a legacy of building and managing high-quality residential and commercial properties throughout the Okanagan, we are committed to thoughtful development, strong community partnerships, and long-term stewardship of our portfolio.

This position supports the current Office Administrator/Receptionist with a full-time schedule and clearly defined responsibilities. In addition to front desk reception coverage during vacation, sick days, and other absences, this role plays an integral part in delivering consistent administrative support to the office and property management team. It also offers meaningful involvement in the rollout of new technology systems, with hands-on training and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, tenants and incoming calls, delivering a professional and welcoming experience.
  • Manage front desk functions, including scheduling, fielding inquiries, and directing communications efficiently.
  • Support the current Administrator by sharing duties and ensuring seamless coverage during absences and peak periods.
  • Provide administrative support to the property management team, including document preparation, data entry, tenant correspondence, and digital record management, this is not an exhaustive list.
  • Participate in training related to the implementation of new systems and technologies, contributing to the adoption and ongoing success of these platforms.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to thrive in a front-line administrative role, with previous experience in reception and administration work, ideally within property management or a related industry.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and a genuine interest in learning new systems and digital tools.
  • Clear and confident communicator with a professional phone manner and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-focused, and able to manage shifting priorities with calm and efficiency.
  • A dependable team player who takes initiative and shows up consistently for scheduled shifts and coverage needs.
