Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the Maitre D will coordinate all front of house food and beverage operations including meeting spaces, bar, restaurant and room service, ensuring they are up to the standards of the Group.
YOUR ROLE

Oversee and coordinate service staff in the restaurant, bar, meeting spaces and room service

Ensure guest satisfaction through exceptional service delivery and attention to detail
-
Coach, mentor, and train team members in accordance with Groupe Germain service standards
-
Provide daily support and guidance to the service team, fostering a positive and professional work environment
-
Uphold quality standards in food and beverage service, presentation, and guest interactions
-
Manage individual and group reservations in collaboration with relevant departments
-
Implement sales strategies and promotional initiatives in conjunction with marketing
-
Plan and execute food and beverage events, including promotions and special functions
YOUR PROFILE

Proven ability to plan and organize events effectively, with an acute sense of time management and attention to detail
-
Assertive, professional and positive with proven ability to develop and lead in a team environment
-
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, outgoing, friendly, persuasive personality
-
Public relation skills (able to animate the restaurant) and generosity
-
Experience in a role with direct personnel supervision, an asset
-
Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and current licensing/employment laws.

Excellent written and oral communication
-
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
