Sales Specialist with Design Experience — Base + Commission, Benefits

Pay: $23.00 per hour (Equivalent to $47,840 per year based on a 40-hour work week) Plus commission

What is a Sales & Design Specialist?

You’ll wear two hats – ‘consultative sales’ and ‘graphic design support’ – to deliver outstanding visual solutions to clients. It will be focused on selling graphic products to new and existing customers. One moment you might be meeting a client on-site to discuss how a custom graphic can transform their business’s marketing, the next; sketching a concept in a design program. If you love building relationships and have an eye for design, this hybrid position offers the best of both worlds in a fun, collaborative environment.

What kind of products will you sell?

Wayfinding office and building signs, Murals and lettering for office environments. Including event signs, commercial vehicle wraps, storefront window graphics, and wall murals. Helping businesses stand out in a big way.

Responsibilities:

• Consult & Sell: Engage with new prospects and existing customers to identify their signage and visual marketing needs.
• Design Mock-Ups: Create simple design proofs and mock-ups using vector based programs similar to Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to help clients visualize the final product. You will also relying on the design department for deeper design projects so that you can keep customer facing.
• Project Coordination: Manage the full sales cycle – from initial inquiry and preparing quotes, through closing the sale, ensure projects stay on schedule and meet our quality standards.
• Market Outreach: Proactively seek out new sales opportunities. This could include responding to inbound leads, networking, and prospecting.

Requirements:

• An excellent understanding of the Saskatoon business community.
• Design experience.
• Prior sales experience is required.
