We're excited to welcome two (2) Learning Experience Administrators to provide crucial administrative support to our Curriculum and Instructional Design team as we are growing. As a member of our dynamic team, the LEA will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of course and program development, instructional design, and curriculum review. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, supporting various team members and contributing to meaningful educational projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare in-class, online, and simulation-based courses within our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Upload and manage quizzes, exams, and learning materials in the LMS.
- Provide technical support for educational technologies and other course resources.
- Produce high-quality educational videos using Camtasia, syncing visuals and audio, optimizing audio, and managing file storage.
- Upload videos to video hosting platforms, ensuring correct settings and naming conventions.
- Review and edit video transcripts and captions to ensure accessibility.
- Use tracking tools, logs, and guides to communicate program standards, project progress, and completed tasks.
- Assist Curriculum and Instructional Design Specialists (CIDSs) with reviewing and editing learning materials, including video and presentations.
- Attend and take meeting minutes for Diploma Programs meetings and Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings.
- Prepare and format documents.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects and support the ongoing development of the curriculum and instructional design initiatives.
- Other tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a role with significant administrative responsibilities or relevant education (e.g., Business Administration Certificate).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Windows operating system.
- Comfortable learning and using new computer programs.
- Excellent keyboarding skills (45 WPM) and attention to detail.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own timelines.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to work.
Additional Information:
This position may include occasional travel and virtual or on-site meetings outside of typical working hours.
