About the role

Resolver operates as a hybrid workforce with the option to work at home, in the office, or a mix of both. While the location of this posting says Toronto, qualified Resolverites are encouraged to apply regardless of location.

The Solution Architect provides technical and subject matter leadership to both our customers and Resolverites. By supporting Pre-Sales to scope and quote on new deals through the sales cycle; leading solutioning and requirements gathering; fostering learning in fellow CX Resolverites and supporting the team’s on-going growth, they are a pivotal member of our scaling team.

Your day to day - let's break it down!

Solutioning / Solution Oversight (60%)

Measures of success*: Billable utilization (60%), project margin, customer feedback (references, NPS, upsell), peer feedback (Services, Product, Sales, CSMs)*

  • Enabling our enterprise customers to take maximum advantage of our software by leading and participating in the delivery a high value implementation:
  • Partnering with the Project Team to establishing a shared vision of success during project initiation and confirming a collective understanding of project scope, and delivery approach.
  • Educating the customer on industry-leading best practices and relevant market insights that will support their implementation at scale.
  • Soliciting customer functional and technical requirements.
  • Developing design alternatives, producing work estimates, identifying recommendations, and securing agreement on designs that satisfy project success factors and reflect industry and software best practices.
  • Performing internal solution reviews and quality assurance activities.
  • Support Consultants to remove configuration bottleneck based on the solution design when needed.

Presales Support (20%)
Measures of Success: Participation in pre-sales activities, timely and accurate work estimates, timely and accurate statements of work, development of estimation processes and tools.

  • Collaborating with Presales and leading presales activities with customers that result in a collective understanding of project success factors, scope of work, and cost of the required Services. Activities include, but are not limited to:
  • Leading discovery sessions and/or blueprinting workshops to capture project success factors and define project scope for Enterprise projects.
  • Identifying and recommending solution designs that satisfy project success factors and adhere to industry and software best practices.
  • Determining the activities required to deliver the project scope and producing associated work estimates.
  • Documenting the project scope and work estimates in the form of a Statement of Work.
  • Developing processes and tools that reduce the amount of time required to produce estimates and contracts.
  • Partner with CSMs to perform site audits, field customer escalations, and strengthen customer relationships

Team Enablement (10%)
Measures of success: Delivery of presentations and workshops, time to productivity of new team members, development of Learning Lab content

  • Supporting Resolverites to better understand customer needs by capturing and spreading knowledge of industry best practices and pertinent development.
  • Acts as a Learning Lead in helping onboard new team members to maximize time-to-productivity.
  • Partner with the Learning Lab to help disseminate knowledge of industry-specific subject matter to enable the CX team; identify and disseminate best practices and support the Learning Lab to support rollout of new Product releases by building applicable supporting content.
  • Mentor and coach the team in the achievement of KRs and personal performance objectives.

Customer Enablement and Engagement (10%)
Measures of success: Participation in discussions with Customers in various initiatives, contribution to creation of Customer Success story content

  • Deepening knowledge of industry-specific subject matter through formal education or by attending key industry events (such as conferences and trade shows).
  • Partner with the Learning Lab to support the development of customer enablement tooling to support efficient implementations.
  • Partner with Sales CS, and Product to partake in customer engagements (i..e, customer research, etc) regarding industry best practices.
  • Partner with CSMs to support their journey to maturity via avenues such as, round table, user-group trainings, webinars, etc
  • Partner with Sales, and Marketing to support creation of content o convey Customer Success stories.

People who Excel:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Consulting delivering enterprise-wide COTS solutions.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of GRC or Corporate Security.
    Strong business acumen with ability to support Sales and prospect conversations as an ambassador of customer experience; keen eye to balance both Sales and Services objectives.
  • Deep understanding of Resolver’s product capabilities with an elevated ability to translate product benefits in a customer-centric way.
  • Ability to speak the customer’s language, uncover pain points, articulate the software’s value proposition, and design solutions that incorporate industry best practices.
  • Track record of effective internal collaboration and management of relationships within and between Resolver teams.
  • Exceptional communication and ability to leverage subject matter expertise to connect with a range of customer levels.
  • Aptitude for mentoring and coaching
