About the role
DI-MOND is a RAPIDLY growing manufacturer, supporting the needs of the Canadian Market. We design and build top-quality, long-lasting heavy duty trailers, truck bodies and MORE! We are currently seeking qualified and highly motivated General Labourers to join our team. DI-MOND is located in Stoney Creek, Ontario.
LOCATION: 317 South Service Rd, Grimsby- ON
Interview Location: 195 Constellation Drive, Stoney Creek.
- Requirements:
- loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
- Assist a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed
- Experience & knowledge of hand tools & power tools such as hand drills, rivet guns, air guns, etc.
- Knowledge & experience of concepts, practices and procedures of manufacturing trailers
- Relies on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Works under immediate supervision
- Job functions may require exercising independent judgment
- Reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Maintains a clean and safe workstation.
- Can lift 15 lbs + consistently
- Adheres to all company safety policies & procedures
Please note: Must have a vehicle to transport to workplace.
- Shift : Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM- 4:00 PM
- Friday: 6:30 AM- 3:00 PM
Total= 44 HRS/ wk
Overtime after 44 hrs.
Benefits available at 3 months ****
**Safety steel toe is a must! All other PPE is provided
** SPANISH AVAILABLE - but must be able to understand & communicate in English
Interview only in Person - no Virtual
